The Best of Catalonia Tour

Catalonia is a fantastic choice for a great holiday. One can enjoy Catalonia in a day or a week depending on the amount of time one has. One of the best tours for Catalonia is its four day tour from Barcelona.

Inclusions

This 4-day Catalonia tour is a package deal that is quite encompassing. It includes the entrance fees to the various pre-arranged local sights of visit, the local guide fees, four day accommodation, full board and transportation in an air conditioned coach.

Hence, a tourist on a 4-day Catalonia tour need not worry about anything except to enjoy all that has been planned as everything is paid for. All the meals for each day are supplied; hence, tourists would not worry about being stranded in some remote attraction spot without food.

The traveling about would be comfortable in a deluxe coach which is driven by a safe and experienced driver with an experienced and friendly tour guide to enlighten tourists on the sights and culture of each place of visit.

Exclusions

Although this four day tour is a package deal, there are exclusions; gratuities to the tour guide or driver are not compulsory or included in the holiday package cost. Some tourists may be very generous and would like to show their appreciation to the tour guides and drivers more than others. Snacks and beverages are not included unless they are part of the prepared meals menu. Hotel pick ups and drop offs may not be included as this type of tour is open to all visitors in Catalonia. There may be ‘walk-ins’ or impromptu tourists who might like to join the tour from different hotels.

Itinerary

The four day Catalonia tour begins from Barcelona in the morning to an ancient settlement called Vic. This village still exercises Middle Ages’ customs which make it a delightful visit for all visitors. It is like going back to the past.

The second day continues to Girona’s Jewish quarter and its famous cathedral. Montserrat greets tourists with the lofty Benedictine monastery with majestic oceans behind. The third day at Sitges allows tourists to enjoy the cobbled streets and whitewashed homes of local fishermen.

Time can be spent on its gorgeous beaches for a picnic before departing to Tarragona,
location en espagne an ancient Roman city. The last day checks out the Cistercian monastery along the Cister Route. Tourists would enjoy the wine tasting activity and education at Torres which is famous for its wine before heading back to Barcelona.
