Alicante is located in the eastern portion of Spain. It is the 2nd biggest city in the region of Valencia. The climate in Alicante is the typical climate in the Mediterranean where the summer is hot and dry and the winter is temperate. It is almost impossible to see any snow in the Spanish coastal areas.
